Every session begins with a conversation and a movement assessment. I want to understand where your pain is, when it started, what makes it worse, and how your body is moving as a whole.
We look at posture, movement patterns, areas of restriction, and areas that may be overworking or underworking. The goal of the assessment is not just to chase the area that hurts, but to understand why it hurts in the first place.
This helps guide the treatment so we are working with a plan, not just guessing.

Treatment is hands-on and may include medical massage, manual therapy, myofascial work, trigger point therapy, lymphatic work, or other manual techniques depending on what your body needs.
Some sessions are more hands-on, especially in the beginning when we are trying to reduce pain, improve mobility, and calm down irritated tissues. The goal of treatment is to create change in the body so that movement becomes easier and less painful.
-
Once pain decreases and movement improves, we focus on rebuilding strength, stability, and better movement patterns so the problem does not keep coming back.
This may include corrective exercises, mobility work, and small changes to daily activities, workouts, or posture. This is where long-term change happens and where you start to feel more in control of your body again.
